Actuarial team

Chief Actuary

David has over 30 years of experience in Actuarial Consultancy.  He is responsible for all actuarial services provided by the Group.  He pioneered the concept of the defined benefit small self-administered scheme (DB SSAS) and advises several Pre-Paid Funeral Plan Trusts. David also provides expert actuarial reports on the sharing of pension assets on divorce.

Senior Actuary

Alan has over 20 years Financial Services experience including 8 years in the Wealth Management Division of Barclays Bank plc, then pensions actuary at Rowanmoor.
Alan is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. a member of IFOA’s Pensions Consultations Subcommittee and a past Honorary Secretary of the Association of Member-directed Pension Schemes (AMPS).

Certified Actuarial Analyst

Amish has over 20 years of actuarial experience since starting his career with James Hay later became Rowanmoor Actuarial Consultancy. He works with the Scheme Actuaries looking after corporate pension schemes. Pre-Paid Funeral Trusts and work associated with solicitors involved in pension sharing on divorce.

Senior Actuarial Analyst

Richard has over 25 years of calculations experience since starting his career with Scottish Provident. Via job transfers and management buyouts over that time becoming Rowanmoor Actuarial Consultancy. He spends his time providing actuarial support to all SSAS and DBSSAS, completing valuation reports for triennial and normal funding. calculating fund shares and producing benefit calculations and pension reviews. Richard also provides technical guidance to scheme administrators and financial advisers. Further support is provided to the Sales team associated with the DBSSAS New Business process for scheme funding.
